I’m fascinated by the power, colour and movement of the sea.  My earliest drawings of the shoreline near my childhood home gained my a place at Edinburgh College of Art.  I still return to the shoreline for inspiration when the light is special.  These pieces were inspired by wonderful waves I saw off the Caithiness coast in Scotland at Dunnet Head.
