The rough surface of the rocks is reminiscent of the moon and Shelia recreated this ancient look through a technique known as reticulation.

I'm fascinated by the power, colour and movement of the sea. My earliest drawings of the shoreline near my childhood home gained my a place at Edinburgh College of Art. I still return to the shoreline for inspiration when the light is special. These pieces were inspired by wonderful waves I saw off the Caithiness coast in Scotland at Dunnet Head.

A small stone, in the Orkney Museum, Kirkwall inspired me to create this collection which has a message written in Ogham, a pictish text. This pendant's Ogham message reads 'A Blessing on the Soul'.

The wild shorelines of Orkney and north Scotland have lovely marram grasses which sweep from side to side in the sea breeze. This inspired me to create a delicate free flowing design with layered silver and enamel.
